| Level of studies | We accept only those students, who already started their clinical studies.(From 3. year) |
| Type of Clerkship | Clinical clerkships only. |
| Languages | English, Hungarian |
| Duration of Clerkship | 1 month, 4 weeks |
| Working Conditions | 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, it depends on the tutor, extra work is welcomed. |
| Disciplines | We accept only in disciplines which have been studied at least for 1 semester!
Budapest: Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Internal Medicine,Endocrinology, Neurology, Ophtalmology, Orthopedics, Oto-rhino-laryngology, Paediatrics, Radiology, Surgery, Traumatology Cardiology-ONLY IN JULY! Debrecen: all disciplines like in other cities Pecs: Gyneacology&Obstetrics, Neurology, Urology and Ophtalmology ONLY AFTER THE EXAM IS PASSED!!! | Application documents & deadline | All Application Forms for July and August should arrive until the end of the March Meeting!Application Forms for other months should arrive 3 months before the exchange start date.
APPLICATION DOCUMENTS: We need the documents in electronic forms(CD or sent to the NEO email address) Upon arrival(original documents, hard copy, Further information on health examination results will be given by the Contact Person): -2 passport size photos -TB negative chest X-Ray, -urine(sedimentation) and fecal laboratory test(bacteriology) -recent blood test:(haematocrit, haemoglobin, white blood cell, qualitative blood test, thrombocytes,SGOT, SGPT, serum bilirubin, gamma-GT, urea, kreatinin) -serology: HIV, HbsAg, Aus HCV -certificate of vaccinations -Lues serology (Wassermann) to Pediatric Clinic or Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE AS RECENT AS POSSIBLE AND IN ENGLISH !!!! VERY IMPORTANT: due to new regulations every medical students has to show vaccination and screening documents before starting the practice! Late e-AF-s will be considered later on your own risk! The CC must be sent at least 4 weeks in advance otherwise we cannot guarantee you the clerkship anymore . Exact date of arrival must be stated in the CC! |

| Insurance | All exchange students must have health insurance for the period of their clerkship and should be arranged individually. Students are obligated to bring their insurance certificate with them.
IMPORTANT! A proof of insurance must be sent in scanned form in email with the CC!If this regulation was denied, we would have the right of cancelling the clerkship. |

| Board & Lodging | Board: At least lunch five days a week,or lunch tickets, varies from town to town.
Lodging: All students are hosted in student dormitories. UNILATERAL: Cost of 250 Euro per month for unilateral exchange to be paid until the end of March Meeting.Contact the NEO about payment details. |
| Social Program | We offer a huge variety of social programs at our local organizations during summer months (july and august). In the other months depends on the LC. |
| Substitutions | Substitution can only be accepted 4 weeks in advance. Substitutions are possible only, if the student's genders are the same, and if they have applied for the same city and same department. |
| Cancellations | Cancellations must arrive at least 4 weeks before the start of the clerkship. We prefer substitutions to cancellations. |
| Visas | Please check it out in your country's Embassy.
Visa is the students own responsibility and has to be arranged by himself! If you need invitation letter, ask in time (at least 4 weeks before arrival)! Please note, that we will send an official invitation letter, but if it isn't enough, we cannot help more due to how embassys work! These units won't be postponed for the next year! |
| Special remarks | Please bring your white coat and stethoscope!
Clerkships may be automatically cancelled when the Local Committee receives claims from the hospital or the dormitories! We offer accomodation and board only for period specified in the CA! A 60 euros of caution has to be paid upon arrival for the students ID, keys and fittings of the dormitory! |
