Duration of Clerkship 4 weeks
Working Conditions Daily work, guided by doctor most time. Under same conditions as costarican students

Hospital Nacional de Ninos, Pediatrics in diverse fields
Hospital México & Calderon Guardia, Internal Medicine and surgery
Clínica Santa María, Ultrasonography

Application documents & deadline 1. Official IFMSA Application Form
2. 1 Photo
3. Letter that proofs that he/she has finished the chosen discipline
4.Inmunization form (specially Hepatitis B)
5.Motivation letter in spanish
All application documents must be sent at least 3 months before the clerkship begins

Board & Lodging Free on bilateral exchange, in a student house, so he/she will live with a family.
Breakfasts and dinners are provided free on charge by families, on bilateral agreement. Student should take care of lunch by himself/herself.
Social Program The Local Committee will give you some tips for the social program.
Substitutions We must be notified at least three weeks before the beginning of the clerkship. Must be the same sex, period and department
Cancellations We must be notified at least four weeks before the beginning of the clerkship
Visas We don't guarantee visas.

Special remarks Bring stethoscope and white coat with you. We wear formal clothing at the hospital, men have to wear tie. Scrubs are accepted in some hospitals (ask us if in doubt).
