Insurance From the 2011/12 season on, we will provide a health insurance for all non-EU citizens at a cost of 50-100ˆ. This insurance is mandatory as hospitals require it! Details will follow as soon as possible. Students from EU countries as well as students from Switzerland, Iceland and Norway do not need to buy the extra insurance, a proof of their home insurance will be sufficient.
Pocket Money no pocket money
Board & Lodging Free on bilateral basis.
Unilateral incomings have to pay 360 EUR with accommodation and 140 EUR without accommodation latest upon arrival.

Lodging in a student dormitory in July, August and September (own towels and own bed sheets needed!) or in student flats.
Meals at the hospital (bilateral students)
Social Program Organised by the Local Committees in cooperation with AIESEC and IAESTE.

In July, August & September Social Program will be fully provided.
Throughout the year (Oct-May) we will try to provide the incoming students with Social Program, but we cannot guarantee it (as we are having exams then).
Substitutions We strongly discourage subtitutions as the departments might not accept them.
The substitute has to overtake the same period, the same department and the same city!!!
Please inform us about the substitution as soon as possible (at least six weeks before the clerkship is to begin) and send the documents (Application Form, Substitution Form & application documents) to the NEO attached as a scanned copy to an e-mail to neo@amsa.at! We cannot guarantee that the substitute will be accepted!

Special remarks Note that once the CA is received, no changes in period are possible! Other changes can be made on special request.

Students have to find the way to the dormitory on their own. Details will be provided with an information-mail for incomings 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the clerkship.
