| Periods & Towns | LJUBLJANA: The exchange programme normally runs in July, August and September. Limited number of places is available during the rest of the year on special request (please contact NEO before filling the AF)!!

| Application documents & deadline | LJUBLJANA: At the March Meeting for summer months, 3 months in advance for the remaining part of the year. Late AFs can not be guaranteed to be concerned!
Each application should enclose: • eAF (filled completely with all required information!) • 4 photographs (one sent in advance and the others upon arrival) • letter of enrolment (without it we won't be able to provide boarding)- one sent in advance and one upon arrival • letter of motivation (very important because we give it to the mentors!) • official study record from university showing all courses studied • language certificate • Vaccination documents - Hepatitis B |

| Insurance | LJUBLJANA & MARIBOR: Required. Students must send the copy of the insurance certificate at latest with the CC and present the original upon arrival. |
| Pocket Money | No pocket money. |
| Board & Lodging | LJUBLJANA & MARIBOR: Free on bilateral agrement. Students are staying at student dorms or apartments (depending on availability).
2 meals per day are provided. 300 euro on unilateral agreement. Accommodation is offered only for the calendar month student is accepted. |
| Social Program | LJUBLJANA: Social program is carried through by representatives of all faculty fields, not just medical one. During the summer months (July - September) we organize afternoon activities every day from Monday till Friday (including parties almost every day) and also a weekend trip every week. Through the rest of the year the social program is not so intense and it depends on the free time (studies and other obligations) of the students.
MARIBOR: same as above, there is one of the biggest multicultural festivals in Europe, Festival Lent, going on in july every year. |
| Substitutions | LJUBLJANA & MARIBOR: Substitutes should preferrably be of same sex and must accept the same period, city and department as the original applicant. Substitutions must send their information at least 1 month before the clerkship starts. |
| Cancellations | LJUBLJANA & MARIBOR: We prefer substitution to cancellations. The substitute student must be the same sex and accept the same department and period of clerkship. If a student is delayed for 7 days or more, his/her clerkship may be cancelled, unless the prior agreement has been obtained from SloMSIC National Exchange Officer. |
| Visas | The visa procedure should be started about 2 months prior to arrival! Student should apply for tourist visa if possible. The other option is a study visa which can take up to 2 months. It is recommended, that students who need visa send the AFs before the 20.2. because this allows us to prepare the ILs and take them with us to the MM.
It is important to inform us (on provided contacts) about your actions concerning obtaining visa so we can advice and assist you! |
